About Fund Beginner
Hello and welcome to Fund Beginner. 👋
If you’ve ever wanted to start investing in funds but felt completely lost, or don’t even know what funds are or how to start investing safely, you’re in the right place.
Fund Beginner is all about making fund investing simple, clear, and easy to get started with. We cut through the jargon, explain the basics of funds, the available accounts, and providers, and give you impartial advice so you can start with confidence, once and for all.
Whether you’re just hearing about funds for the first time, thinking about where to put your money, wanting to build wealth, or ready to start building your portfolio, we’ve got you covered. From setting up accounts to automatic investing and managing your fund investments, we’ll help you every step of the way.
Fund investing doesn’t need to be complicated.
Fund investing is an easy, diversified approach to investing, without the overwhelming nature of picking stocks, timing an exit, or needing to keep an eye on your portfolio regularly. With funds, you can invest and forget and build wealth over decades across thousands of companies with a single investment.
Financial literacy in the UK is very poor and we want to help change that by providing the public with very clear, beginner friendly guides so that everyone has the tools and knowledge to make their money work for them through fund investing.
The UK trend is clear: low savings → low investing → lack of awareness.

The story behind Fund Beginner
Fund Beginner was created by a small team of experienced investors who have been in your shoes. We’ve seen the confusion, the overwhelming advice, and the mistakes beginners can make, so we wanted to build something different.
Our team has decades of combined experience in fund investing, portfolio management, and working within major investment platforms. We’ve grown our own investments portfolios experimented with different strategies, and learned what really works for steady, long term growth. Fund Beginner is our way of sharing that knowledge so you don’t have to go it alone.
Fund Beginner is all about helping everyday people start investing in funds, making it simple, reliable, and accessible, and guiding you toward building financial independence over time. We make it easy.
